Here today | Zach Zono, 2024

First things first. Do we think Zach Zono is a stage name? It really rolls off the tongue, and ZZ is such an iconic pair of initials.

I love art and spaces that includes a wide variety of color but do not come across as rainbow. This piece has reds, oranges, pinks, yellows, blues, purples, (basically everything but green) but I don’t feel like I’m staring at a rainbow. It’s a explosion of colors and florals, but in a cohesive way. I like how the painting was done on a base of a cool light blue and the florals painted on top are mainly in warm-tones. He blue peaking through throughout the work, provides some interesting contrast.

This is my ideal color palette.
