Such a fun scene! It feels like a lively day in a sunny big city in the 1970s. When this work was created in 1977, I’m sure this scene was just a fun approach to depicting a very common looking street corner, but when you view it now, the scene is filled with nostalgia and signs of a different time. You can sense how exciting and fast-paced the world felt in this moment, but there is also a simplicity to life that seems all but gone these days.
