From the Bottom of the Sea | Megan Williamson, 2021

This takes me back to my days in printmaking class where we would sit around a table filled with shells and other random objects for hours at a time. The shells were always the most exciting things to try and sketch, but I ended up attempting a copper etched print of several mugs and other pieces of dinnerware.

It is interesting to think about where each of these shells and pieces come from and how these potentially very different parts of the ocean are coming together in this collection. Or maybe they were all found already together, and that is cool too.
