Le Kiosque a musique | Raoul Dufy, ca. 1940

Rainy day at the park. Not what you think an ideal park day would be, but there is something about this that actually seems kind of nice. A soft sprinkle of rain while the band plays music in the gazebo. It does not sound too bad.

I love how broadly Dufy colors his works. He uses sharp black outlines to define objects and people, but the colorful paining is whimsically applied making the whole scene blend together.
