I should try and paint something like this.

It looks fairly simple, but the key to creating a scene like this is building it up layer by layer. When you actually look at the painting closely, you see the countless colors used to create the clouds and the various brushstroke directions that give texture to the grassy field.

I'll give this a try someday.
