Crab and Oranges (Hand-Embellished, Edition 11) | Nikki Maloof, 2022

Woah! Those are some fun patterns and a not so fun meal. I'm not normally one to yuck someone's yum, but crab, raw fish, artichokes, and oranges is once hell of a Chopped basket.

I appreciate the commitment to the red and blue pattern in this kitchen. The matching drawer liners to the tile is a nice touch. As busy as the tile work pattern is, the real pop of color comes from the oranges. They enter the scene as if they are dangling straight from a tree and interrupt what is otherwise a loud yet concise color palette. The orange color comes just as unexpected as the orange fruit does in the context of this meal. All that said, I would be willing to take exactly 2 bites.
