I feel like the florals that surround the faces in this piece would look so pretty as the border on an invitation to a summer Italian wedding. But on this page instead of details for a party, the florals surround two beautifully sketched figures. Based on their features, they appear to be the faces of marble statues which likely contributes to the Italian essence I am getting. This is like the embodiment of waking up in Florence and being at a vineyard by the afternoon.
Happy last day of February! No leap year this year sadly.
