Red Stack | David Nash, 2020

This may be a two-dimensional piece of art, but I can feel the suspense of this topsy-turvy tower. I feel as if I’m watching that Survivor challenge where they have to stack the plates and bowls while also standing on a rolling log… or something along those lines. Luckily, there is no real threat of these red and black stacked lines to come crashing down, but I sure do feel like I have to brace for the impact of this near-crumbling structure.
