Ties | Wayne Thiebaud, 1965

If I ever find myself in another situation to create copper etching prints again, I would love to try and recreate this. Stripes ties is the perfect thing to create with the line-work of etched prints. Hats off to Wayne Thiebaud for this simply beautiful idea and wonderful execution.

I am feeling so inspired by this piece for some reason. It's classic and something of this style feels achievable for me to create. Art doesn't have to be crazy elaborate or high concept.
